Roman Days 2007, 2-3 June - Lepidina - 05-14-2007

Roman Days is less than a month away. There has been a huge update on the planning list. If you are planning on coming and are not on the yahoogroup, let me know and I will add you.

Likewise, if your unit is planning on coming and the unit has not received a registration form, please let me know. If you are an independent not attached to a unit or are the only person coming from your unit and you would like a form, let me know as well. You can register when you get there but we need to plan out space and food as dinner on Saturday will be catered.

New this year is a Friday night RAT social and drill practice! Pitch in for sodas and pizza and meet all the people you've exchanged posts with on RAT and other forums!

General information is on the Roman Days website at www.larp.com/legioxx/romandays

And, dueling artillery.. - richsc - 05-24-2007

Never to late to attend. If we have the numbers, and it looks like we will, then I'm proposing marching in two groups, two leaders, and seeing how commands could be passed down the line, maybe even opening up one section and passing through with the back section. Not sure from reading up on other events around the world if this kind of manuevering has been done. If it has, I'd be interested in hearing how it worked.

Roman Days was a great success, with at least 40 legionaries attending, and probably 35 on the field. Here are some photos:

It looks as though it was a good day. Nice to see the artillery by the way.
