Recruiting Hamian Archers - Quadratus - 01-29-2007

I have read somewhere or other (really must start keeping notes) that Cohors I Hamiorum Sagittaria were one of the few auxilliary units in Britain to continue recruiting from their original homeland throughout most of their history.

Can anyone point me at the evidence for this, or comment on how likely it is?

Similarly, although, as far as I know, the earliest positive evidence for the unit in Britain is early second century, I have come across statements to the effect that they were probably part of the Claudian invasion force. Is there any evidence at all for this, or is it pure speculation?
