I liked the night fighting, but it was a bit of a mess - much fighting one on one, where was the Roman discipline= Why no fighting in ranks? Big Grin

Great video! A very nice battle, three different actions. So many, are they all members of one group?

Only, the Celts probably knew they were doomed to lose the battle. They were very unsure of themselves, at one time (3.03) you see one Roman (unarmoured) drive back three Celtic warriors! Big Grin

But it was sure very nice of the Romans not to slaughter the celts, but let them carry away their own dead/wounded.

Re: New Videos - Comerus Gallus - 01-27-2007

I like the 2nd as well, like the scene where few roman of a rear flank went to help their other weakening roman flank... & as well the picking of the bodies, & seen the Celt or druid blessing his chief dead body from a little far because other roman still around. Great Battle I hope to be in one like that one day!!!.

The night battle has not been choise from us, but it has happened by chance because the lighthouses of the amphitheater are extinguished and we have remained to the dark. In the films of the two videocameras used by us nothing see, except these few tapes toward the end of the battle, when disarrange right wing of the lost group it was very evident.

The legionaries are all members of the group Ars Dimicandi. The Celts were various groups.
Yes, after having defeated them Big Grin , we have left they picked up their dead and wounded, and also we have done the same. 8)

I would like to do you notice the Roman wedge that is done against the central phalanx of the Celts. The wedge literally dismembers the phalanx formation of the Celts, making them therefore almost harmless. Tongue
