Re: Share Your Greek Artwork - Giannis K. Hoplite - 10-02-2007

Yes Gioi, I can imagine what is going to be like when I'll have my helmetready...only in my dreams for the moment! At the moment,I have not even toughed ANY helmet, deepeeka or custom made, greek or any culture.
And unfortunately, I won't have my corinthian before about 2 years time Cry

Re: Share Your Greek Artwork - hoplite14gr - 10-04-2007

Why is the "MOLON LAVE!" missing?

Kind regards

Re: Share Your Greek Artwork - Susanne - 10-07-2007

Good one, Gioi.

Re: Share Your Greek Artwork - hoplite14gr - 10-07-2007

Some orthography.

Gioi please modify to: ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ! or Μολών λαβέ!

Kind regards

Re: Share Your Greek Artwork - hoplite14gr - 10-11-2007

"Molon Lavo" would be how Xerxes might have said it.
It would be incompehensible to a Greek.

Kind regards

Quote:The Molon lave is done in greek: wich would be: Come & get them
Gioi, the phrase is Molon Labe, if I remember it correct...

Re: Share Your Greek Artwork - Mythos_Ruler - 10-23-2007

Here's a Carthaginian Sacred Band texture I'm doing for the game I'm working on. I post it here because it's similar to Greek armour.

(Note: the blue color will change depending on the player; player 1=blue, player 2=red, and so on)

Edit: Please forgive the gorgon buttons. They're kind of like a little easter egg. No one will be able to see them in-game anyway. Wink
