Living History music videos... - Arthes - 01-05-2007 Greetings, Gioi started a thread about Tyr.....there are a lot of music videos out there that feature living history and re-enactment, but not all come into our time periods. This one is early Medieval/crusades or maybe even depicts a Medieval Arthur fighting the Saxons...and I love both the song and the video (and yes, Ok...I admit it...am drooling over a knight or two...  ) Nightwish - Sleeping Sun I am trying to work out what the Standard is...whether Plantagenet, the Lion of Norway given the vikings in the battle, which would have made it Sigurd I Magnusson's men ...or the Golden Dragon of Wessex..... :? regards Arthes Re: Living History music videos... - Arthes - 01-06-2007 Tarja Tarunen from the last video and Martin Kesici singing a Vikingr love story....and a rather nice Knarr I think it is...! Leaving you for me Re: Living History music videos... - FAVENTIANVS - 01-06-2007 Oh! How beautiful and epic...! Re: Living History music videos... - Gaius Julius Caesar - 01-07-2007 Very emotive! Re: Living History music videos... - Arthes - 01-07-2007 Rather more traditional music for these... a very bouncy Medieval video....although I don't understand Belarusian...! Stary Olsa - U Karchme and another Vikingr one from the Rus band Volkolak I rather like the ending...! Re: Living History music videos... - FAVENTIANVS - 01-08-2007 :? ? More music videos - Arthes - 01-13-2007 I am organising my hard drives and came across a download of this....hadn't watched it before... Vikingr era Perunwit....Ostatnia droga wojownika looking for - Caius Fabius - 01-14-2007 I am trying to find a music video I saw late night in Ukraine in 2003. I think the band was German. The lead singer is dressed in late medieval armor, he has long, blond hair. He is accompanied by an 'advisor' wizard type.... He comes into a room and finds a lovely girl, dressed as a princess... he starts shedding his armor.... she pulls up her skirt to show a chastity bely, he smiles and pulls out a set of keys.... Has anyone seen this music video? Or can you tell me the group's name? Charlie Re: Living History music videos... - A_Volpe - 01-16-2007 Certainly not Rammstein...They'd probably "unlock" that chastity belt with a sledgehammer or a flamethrower... hock: Living History music videos... - jonwr - 01-23-2007 Tarja Turunen could borrow my armour anytime she wants jon Ractliffe Vilkaci - Arthes - 01-30-2007 This is Latvian fight re-enactment and folklore group Vilkaci with a sad story of young Viking warriors to tell....Vilkaci I can't stop watching this.... Nordland - Arthes - 02-06-2007 I think this is a mix of re-enactment and clips from Barbarians-The Vikings....set to Bathory's Nordland Wow..! D Re: Living History music videos... - Arthes - 02-06-2007 Volkolak from Russia.... They also have some living history interviews with a little music and some fighting..... French band Lutece rather badly pixelated on the fight and other scenes, which is a shame... Re: Living History music videos... - AthenaK - 02-07-2007 These videos are somewhat different from the others posted here, but they are related. They are rather bizarre. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuSHK-b-4JM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76mkvi0qmUA This fellow, Leunagus, has a whole bunch of these sort of videos.
