Epic movie soundtracks for one, ala Last Samurai, Lord of the Rings, Kingdom of Heaven, with Gladiator being a particular favorite. In addition I listen to a lot of rock, mostly industrial and metal, Rammstein and Nightwish being good examples. In addition there is a lot of techno, new age, dance, and neo-classical. I have smaller amounts of traditional music, particularly Celtic and country.

I like Paul listen to lots of "Historical" ie- Gladiator type music. But if it's modern music I like: Amy Winehouse, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis jr, The scissor sisters, Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkey's, Black Sabbath and loads more. So a pretty wide range really.

I enjoy celtic music alot. I've got a Irish christmas music CD thats grand.

But as far as modern stuff goes, I'm a big fan of Pearl Jam, and I like things like Blind Melon, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Collective Soul, etc. I enjoy alot of new Christian-radio music, which is readily available via radio, since I live so close to Nashville.

I like all kinds of music; at the moment an old 883 record that contains the band's greatest hit Hanno ucciso l' uomo ragno (to played at maximum volume). Nice song if you want to brush up your Italian: catchy tune, intelligent lyrics (uomo ragno = spider man).

Normally i am listening mostly metal, being a great fan of System of a Down.
Aditionally i listen to classic music.
Sometimes i think this two kinds of music have many things in common.
