I disabled the autolink because when I opened it my pc was attacked by a very agressive form of spam. It wanted to scan my pc. When I said no the page was shut down, including the forum..

AGGRESSIVE SPAM??!!

Do you think Monty Python might be behind it?

("You can have spam, egg, chips and spam; Eggs, chips, beans and spam; aggressive spam..." or "England has been invaded by aggressive Spam. Our brave lads are fighting back with everything they've got, but the Spam is making mincemeat of them..." )

Re: Thracian articles online - sitalkes - 04-05-2007

Hi, sorry about the inconvenience, however I am a member of this forum, if you want the current address of the Thracian web site, you can send me a private message. Alternatively the Yahoo email address is working maybe try it again. I hope to visit Greek Thrace before April 2008 to have a look at Thracian (not Greek) sites/artifacts there if I can find somebody to show/tell me where they are, suggestions welcome! Also I am looking for artists to provide illustrations for the new book.

Cheers,
Christopher Webber

Re: Thracian articles online - Tarbicus - 04-05-2007

Christopher, I recommend changing your email address to something that spambots can't automatically trawl. Something like:

vakarr AT yahoo.com.au

Re: Thracian articles online - Hoplitesmores - 04-05-2007

Mr Webber
There was a lecture on thrace before the greek colonization in 2006 ,20th february. This is just the anouncement for it and it is in Greek only unfortunately.

http://culture.thrace.info/?cat=15
http://www.thraceland.gr/
http://www.ipet.gr/
http://www.lilianvoudouri.gr/

It mentioned the three websites below though they are in Greek and i cant figure out which would be rensponsible for information on the sites. You can email any of the sites on this issue.I would go with the first. If you want any help on the language or anything else let me know.I ll also call some archaeologists i know and get back to you.
