Carthaginian reeactment is what happens when Celts and Iberian reeactors get on the same field. Preferably with a small car or something dressed up as an elephant.

very simple way to re enact this period...

burn down your house and belongings....

sprinkle lots of salt over your land.............

then sit down and weep next to it............

Is that Lake Trasimene in the background? :?:

sacrifices - Gundwulf - 05-31-2013

No... too little to be Trasimeno Lake... this is a small lake near Pavullo, a small town near Modena. My historical group organized there a reenactment event last weekend.

In Cartagena (Cartago Nova), Spain, there is a popular party, but isn't a accurate reenactement.

this is a small lake near Pavullo,
Well, due to the well-known global warming, the lake MIGHT have shrunk considerably.
Just kidding, of course. Smile
