KNOWN ERRORS in MAP OF THE ROMAN WORLD - Jona Lendering - 06-10-2006 Here is the list of known errors in the map; I will re-edit this page when possible and necessary. Please note that errors are inevitable: the world's topography is too complex for the computer system. Jasper and I do our best to check. Please add what you think is wrong (coordinates, description, better links), but do not add items that you have added and have not yet appeared. Jasper needs to validate every single item, which just takes some time. (And -hey!- this guy is writing a thesis, he has other important things to do.) Blue means that the marker must change. === LIBYA Al-Qaryah al Gharbiya, Wadi Ghirza, Bu Njem PAKISTAN - Alexandria in Oreitia: lat=26.2247383936, lon=66.3158753512 - City of the Mallians: 30.1892496163, lon=71.4700620562 SPAIN - Location of Legio - Iuliobriga Latitude 42.983240 Longitude -4.115923 - Add Lucentum, in Alicante; Alange SYRIA - Location Bosra TEXAS - Texas Coritani have link to <a href="http://www.freewebs.com/texascoritani/" >Texas Coritani Celtic Iron Age - Address: 1100 Congress Austin, Texas 76701 Re: KNOWN ERRORS in MAP OF THE ROMAN WORLD - Praefectusclassis - 06-10-2006 Thanks Jona. Re: KNOWN ERRORS in MAP OF THE ROMAN WORLD - aitor iriarte - 06-13-2006 Was it fought at the actual modern city of Lerida or just 'nearby'? Re: KNOWN ERRORS in MAP OF THE ROMAN WORLD - Robert Vermaat - 06-13-2006 Is the map offline? I can't see any marker.... Re: KNOWN ERRORS in MAP OF THE ROMAN WORLD - Praefectusclassis - 06-13-2006 Nope. That means that one of the latest additions slipped through with bad html in them. Re: KNOWN ERRORS in MAP OF THE ROMAN WORLD - Praefectusclassis - 06-13-2006 And fixed. Apparently the & sign causes trouble in the datafile. Re: KNOWN ERRORS in MAP OF THE ROMAN WORLD - Robert Vermaat - 06-13-2006 If I try the map now, my browser crashes! The map opens with all markers...
