Dear Ivan,

The Republican Era helmets are from Deepeka (until now...) and the Empire are from Germany (the base) and the details are us who made.

Salve!

Re: Your Combat Pictures....Please - Iosephus - 06-15-2006

Arthes,

the webpage I linked belongs to a Hungarian group called S.A.G.A. They are multiperiod with some 70-80 members. One of their biggest sub-group focuses on viking/norman era and the other is on ancient barbarians (celtic/german).
Their ancient group members are our regular "enemies".

And yes indeed, Wolin is fantastic (althought I haven't been there yet). Last year there were more than 1000 participants from the Skandinavian and Baltic countries, from Poland, Russia, Ukraine and there were some 70 Hungarians too. Big Grin

In the future I will collect a viking kit just for this event as well, however THAT battle is quite dangerous: SCA-like full combat with steel weapons (lightened and dulled).

Peroni,

your pics look really fantastic. Do you have maybe more, hidden somewhere in the dark corners of the internet waiting for some lost soul to discover them?
