Re: Music of Ancient Rome and Greece - Sergey Lenkov - 10-24-2009 I think I heard the most picturesque (and funny if it's proper word) version of the epitaph of Seikilos on "Pugnate" There's CDs by Micheal Levy on CDbaby http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/mlevy4 He's self-taught enthusiast... There's too many not ancient but folk music pieces... Here's only Jewish folk music http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/mlevy2 but one of the listeners writes: "Michael Levy has resurrected an ancient music form that brings such joy to the spirit and warmth to the heart"... Re: Music of Ancient Rome and Greece - Sergey Lenkov Secundus - 09-08-2010 Salve! I couldn't login with my old name, so I created new account. Some more unfamiliar for me records: John Curtis Franklin http://www.kingmixers.com/AncGreekMusicFragments.html Your impressions?
