Hope you folks like this illustration of one of Alexander's phalangites. It was painted in Photoshop.

Well done Johhny.
Was your intention to show an elite trooper and you painted the linothorax purple?
Àlso the mountains backgrount is supposed to show Hindu-Kush maounts?

Yes, he is an elite trooper (purple linothorax) somewhere out east ( Hindu-Kush). Although it would seem that armor began to breakdown and many troops didn't have it...

Photoshop is a software program made by Adobe.

I use Photoshop CS2 on a Macintosh Apple computer (G5). I also use a Wacom pen and pad tool...

Yeah, a little on the "beefy" side..! I guess I like my Iron Age soldiers to look a little "heroic"..!
