Dated to 350 - 300 BC and the first recorded contest was 264 (?) BC which is one, or two, generations away. It looks to me like an add on at a later date but if its a genuine add on and it was not uncommon for warriors then it might have been adopted by the Thraex at a later date. hey .. I'm fishing here. |
