At first sight, I'd say that the 'Coptic' tunic is fairly late, already into the Muslim period, 7th or 8th AD, at least... The horizontal pleat is a reapeating feature, very useful to shorten a garment woven in one piece without cutting the valuable and useful borders. Notwithstanding, that feature conceals sometimes a tunic woven in three pieces using a narrower warp-weighted loom and, therefore, cheaper. Needless to say that this part of the tunic would go hidden by a belt...
