Iberians - Tiberius Claudius Vindex - 07-27-2005 Are there any good materials out there on the Celt-Iberians? I'm debating doing a Celt-Iberian impression in addition to my Roman one as it seems to be one of the more neglected barbarian impressions, given their impact on Roman fighting tactics. (he took Spainish for 4 years in school, I took German for 3) As I look at the illustrations, the native Iberians were the ones I was thinking of, I must have gotten the two mixed up. I want to portray the ones the Romans refered to as scutiarri;(sp?) something like the guy in the foreground of this image with the colorful shield. BTW, any idea what that headgear is made out of? I think we might have met, I was the tall skinny auxillary. I guess there will be two Iberians at North East U.S. events.
