Künzing Dagger / Deepeeka - caiusbeerquitius - 05-19-2005 It seems to me, that the Deepeeka Künzing-dagger is not shaped correctly. Did anyone buy it and has some comments? Here the pictures: Künzing: Deepeeka: Re: Künzing Dagger / Deepeeka - Magnus - 05-19-2005 Of all the hundreds of pugio out there, surely the blade shape must match one of them! Re: Künzing Dagger / Deepeeka - FlaviusCrispus - 05-19-2005 Ave Caius! I just took a look at your website for Populares Videlicenses. Some very nice reconstructions, there! Am I correct in interpreting your time frame as early 3rd century, say, Severus Alexander era? And is there any way to make the images in your Galerie bigger? I click on them, but nothing seems to happen. Re: Künzing Dagger / Deepeeka - caiusbeerquitius - 05-19-2005 @ Magnus: I`m not so sure about this. The tip is on none of the Künzing blades formed like this. But maybe someone knows a piece with such a tip? I haven´found one so far... @ FlaviusCrispus: Our webmaster is a genius Yes, we do early 3rd century. There will be some better pictures after Ladenburg next week, and then after Xanten. (Hopefully, at least) Re: Künzing Dagger / Deepeeka - Robert Vermaat - 05-20-2005 Quote:I just took a look at your website for Populares Videlicenses. So did I - great stuff!
