Corbulo\'s legions - Cassius Chaerea - 05-04-2005

During the war with Parthia over Armenia, Gnaeus Domitius Corbulo was give an invasion force of about six legions and auxiliary after the embarrassing defeat under the command of Paetus. Tacitus writes that he was joined by his two fresh and battle hardened legions the sixth and the third. I was looking through some books and was not sure on the names of those two legions. They were good in the war in Armenia and had achievements worth praising. If anyone knows the names and origins of these legions it would be great! Cassius
