Anyone have either the French or English version or both of Silvano Mattesini's Gladiateurs (ISBN:9782840484196) / Gladiators (ISBN: 9788890433818)? How is it and how does it compare with Shadrake's The World of the Gladiator? No preference concerning French or English, but if the latter's translation is lacking, I'll go with the former. Which edition should I look for? The English version was published in 2009 while the French was released in 2016, so is the latter updated or no difference between the the two?
