Coulston's discussion of the fragments can be read here (pp. 561-566). The McManus Art Gallery and Museum in Dundee, where the Carpow finds are on display, is well worth a visit.  Smile

Ross, your link inspired me to update Call for Sources: The Organic Components of Scale Armour in Antiquity” to version 1.4 and include the link to the open-access version of the site report (I still like the article on JSTOR)
