 Have Roman and Viking army both at together ever been face any other army?

The Roman empire in the west fell in AD476, and the first Vikings didn't appear until the 790s - so there's more than 300 years between them!

But you might like to look up the Varangian Guard - they were often of 'Viking' origin, and fought for the East Roman ('Byzantine') empire.
