Any Aspis Worth Buying? - Justin Boyle - 08-08-2016

Noob question:   Are any of the commercially available Greek hoplite shields actually worth buying?  Most of them are just awful.

Deepeeka's stuff seems to get mixed reviews.  Most of their "Greek" shields look more like Vikings.  I did see their Laconian Shield but the photos have no detail so I can't tell what the reverse or profile look like.  Has anyone tried this shield before?

Yes, there are some well done commercially available hoplite shields out there.
