Latin translation assistance - Anonymous - 02-07-2004
My Latin has never been very good and my Lexicon has disppeared (I suspect someone has borrowed it without asking). The following passage comes from "Chronicon Colmariense" dated to 1398. I need as literal a translation as possible. I'm hoping this passage can be used to help demonstrate that mail armour could be proofed against arrows.<br>

the author states that men at arms wore, "camisiam ferream, ex circulis ferreis contextam, per quae nulla sagitta arcus poterat hominem vulnerare."<br>
