Tha Sisak Gladius - XorX - 05-01-2016 hi! another one Blade is the Find from the river Kupa in Siscia / Sisak, made in soft core / hard edges construction from welded steels; guard and pommel are after the Velsen pieces in olive wood, handle is octogonal in cattle bone; scabbard is linden covered in dyed leather, fittings from Mainz (mouthpiece, hangers), Saintes ("cross"-fitting) and generic "urn"-like ending knob, all in tinned brass measures: Length 685mm blade length 515mm width 54 // 45mm thickness 5,5 // 4,8 // 5,8mm (shoulder, mid, point) blade weight 590g total weight 825g RE: Tha Sisak Gladius - Virilis - 05-02-2016 (05-01-2016, 03:34 PM)XorX Wrote: Excellent!
