Great stuff. We just need a Quinqreme to man now! 8-)

Re: Show here your Roman soldier impression - John M McDermott - 08-02-2012

Yes, that is brass edging, though the segmentata was also suggested by the painting in Nero's palace.

Re: Show here your Roman soldier impression - David Perez - 08-05-2012

I do works for Holy Week and Moros and Cristianos, tour my page and tell me that you seem to
Casco Romano

Re: Show here your Roman soldier impression - tiberius aemilius naso - 08-05-2012

David, the helmets shown in that page are fantasy helmets... only remotely inspired in Roman helmets.

Re: Show here your Roman soldier impression - Doc - 08-05-2012

The Roman helmets on that site are EXTREMELY REMOTELY related to actual Roman helmets. The only one that barely saves itself is the one in the middle of the last row.

Re: Show here your Roman soldier impression - tiberius aemilius naso - 08-05-2012

The representations of the Holy Week and Moros y Cristianos don't seek for accuracy. But, having the skills and infrastructure, and considering the situation of the economy in Spain, you could open a line of reenactment products, with a worldwide market... just an idea. But this should go in the marketplace section!
