The recently located (June) legionary camp at an old finding-spot at Augsburg-Oberhausen has now been dated to ca. 8 - 5 BC.

It is therefore the oldest regular camp in Bavaria . The end of this base is dated to 15/16 AD.
Also at Augsburg a 15kg hoard with silver coins has been spotted. (The coins are dated to the 1st and 2nd century.)
The biggest hoard of this kind in Bavaria (ever).
