I've loved Roman history my whole life. It has as always been by far my favourite era of history!
For a long time now I've been involved off and on with the formal academic study of this period. Years ago I had the pleasure of watching reenactment legions over in the UK. It was a wonderful thing to see. For years, I've toyed with the idea of joining such a group back home. The only problem is that I'm not aware of any Roman reenactment groups close to my neck of the woods here in Ontario, Canada.
Maybe time spent here will not only be pleasurable and educational but also help develop some contacts with a northern legion across the pond here in Canada? Here is to hoping!

Welcome! Yes, there is a group near Ontario, though lately their leader seems more into Japanese swordsmanship. Matt Lanteigne may still be doing it.
