I am looking for buttons associated with late swords belt/baldric to scabbard fastening, I am looking to make a set for my Vimose sword. Can anyone put me in the right direction for info and examples. Many thanks in advance

These "button" style ones are I think the most common. Seen here from the Bog finds at Illerup.

Tony, there's one possible button from Vimose itself that I'm aware of but don't seem to have a picture of it. I'm in Copenhagen next week so will see if I can find it.
Meanwhile, here's a couple of examples from Thorsberg which might suit? The first set might be a bit 'barbarian' for your tastes but the second, plainer, cast bronze examples might be just the thing.

Brillant many many thanks Makus and Matt just what I was after. I am amazed at the size of some of them. Thanks for that Pommel Matt very nice I will have a better look later. I have started the belt buckle hope to finish today and then go onto the buttons. Need too buy some belt leather have everting but
