Hi. Does anybody know the thickness of the original metal porpaxes?

How thick is the metal in yours - 1mm, 2mm?

The originals were usually 0,5mm and up to 0,7mm thick. This is extra proof that all metal porpaxes actually had a thick leather base, or even wood, and wood remains have been found under porpaxes.
This was not the case only for porpaxes with the thin metal strip around the arm, but also for the "all metal" ones.
