Missing Town(s) in the Antonine Itinerary - davidscott - 01-31-2015 I understand there are Roman locations in the Antonine Itinerary which have not been identified. In particular at least one whose position cannot be correlated from the narrative. I cannot find this from the search option What is the latest wisdom on this ? Is there an existing discussion please? If so, Rivet & Smith have a section on the Antonine Itinerary in their Place-names of Roman Britain (1979). Missing Town(s) in the Antonine Itinerary - MD - 02-02-2015 If you can read German Bernd Löhberg's study of the Itinerarium Antonini might be of interest to you. It is a good starting point for that kind of questions.
