I will be there with my gladiator group LVDVS NEMESIS together with AMOR MORTIS. We will rock the arena three times a day. Had our final mutual training session last weekend already in the arena of Xanten.

I've just had a look on the website for dates and the English version just has 'Every two years, the APX hosts "Swords, Bread and Games", Europe's largest Roman Festival. The next Festival will open on 23 and 24 June 2012.'
What are the dates for this year?

well we are through
it was a very nice weekend lots of troops from UK till Italy and of course Germany. Wonderful craftsmen (craftswomen) all open to discussions. and lots of action for the kids. We as a family had a lot of fun being me, looking at soldiers and crafts, my wife costumes and medicine and my daughter who liked the Gladiator School of our friend here Olaf who btw does a very nice job with the kids.
Arena and military (I numbered over 1 century on the field probably even more than 100 miles) were monstrous, and the artillery was .. I can find no word to express this.

BTW if any of the groups want pics from me please let me know I did a lot of them will just need to upload.
