I thought I was the only high schooler on this website! Smile

I'm a senior. Just saying.

I wish there were kids in my school who likes SPQR. I'm just in 9th grade.

I joined up when I was in 9th grade as well. Don't be discouraged, although you are young there are plenty of Legions who will still welcome you!

Thanks, I need to find a legion near where I will move to in 6 months, I'm just worried my parents won't let me spend my money on equipment. They will say "it won't help you in the long run"

Yeah I got that too, but I went ahead and did it anyways. Tongue

Where are you moving to? I can help you find a unit.

I accidentally sent the same message twice.

LOL that's perfect! Please tell me Late Roman is your favorite too!

Legio VI is right here in South and North Carolina, the other two Legions close are Legio XI in Athens, Georgia and Legio IX in Richmond, Virginia.

Rusty Myers is our guy. He can loan you kit until you get your own together (should you decide to join).

Our main event is Castra Romana, here:

And of course our website:

My guys do Late Roman and Late Germanic/Hunnic. Our website isn't up yet but we're part of Legio VI.

That's awesome what I put on my Christmas list is the soul of the warrior militis gladius. I like late 1st century to late 2nd century. I think the Dacian wars were a pretty cool conflict that displayed the might of Rome. I will look into it when move, might meet you at an event!

We're gonna have a new Gladius soon that's much better than our Militis, Magnus, and Hardwood Magnus combined. Just saying.

We predominately do late 1st century, and Mike Daniels does a 2nd century impression.

Our next event is the Summerville Italian Festival in late April. There's a link to it on our website.

You aren't alone. Another frequent user of this site, my friend, Ariovistus Togodubnus (Sean) and I are Juniors in high school. We are few and far between, but quality over quantity eh?

I still hope the militis is well made and accurate. I do not think I will be there for the Italian festival. I have always though vi FCC looked like the best legion at least on the east coast.

Thanks!

The Militis is better than any Deepeeka sword you can get, but it has issues. I assure you our new blade will be better than anything we currently offer, if I talk to Rusty you could probably even pre-order one
