pendant pteruges? - richard robinson - 06-02-2013 Having been gifted a lovely brass musculata that does not match any of the subarmoralii that I have made, I wish to make one that has the pendants at the part that meets the breastplate. I do not wish to add the pendants to the breastplate(it does not have a back plate. I know there are lots of excellent sculptural pendants but I am hoping that someone here has access to articles on found examples. I read an article in a Roman Journal many years ago that was a report on a find of ( I think) a silver or silvered example complete with hinge. regards Richard |
