There was a good turnout. I counted 12 legionares, 5 gladiators, 3 barbarians, and 1 "politian?".
Many thanks for sharing the pics Neuralmancer! Lookin good!

I'm the guy in the 4th, 5th, and 6th down from Neural's portrait. (4th is me with my hands open closest to crowd, 5th is me with back facing, closest to camera, that's Quintus from the XXIV next to me in his Coolus, 6th is "A fine looking legionare" aww shucks) Then the one with "getting ready to shoot" the Scorpio with Gallio from the XXIV...we had waaaaay too much fun shootin that bad boy off!

My girlfriend is the fine Egyptian lady at the bottom, sorry boys, she's with me!

That was a great time! The most fun was heckling and badgering the barbarian gladiators, then "escorting" them off the area with our Pila

The "politian" - he was acting as a Medicus and an Aele (spelling?) as best I remember.

thanks again to Leg's XXIV, III, X, and VIIII, Mar-Vista for the awesome food and LaWren's for putting it together!
Nerual - since you don't have an email access off of here that I know of - would you mind if I share these pics with people and such?
Lee, do you also mind if I snag those to put on our website?

Also, would you mind writing up a travel logue of the event..from the time you departed to the time you arrived back home? I'll make a page on the legion website for it.
Magnus/Matt
Re: Sharing photos - Anonymous - 05-17-2004

Again, for anyone interested, other than for commercial use, I put no restrictions on the use of my pictures. I'll expand on the e-mail that I had previously sent out to all of the legio XXX members. Soon, whenever I get my wife's roll of film developed, I should have a few more pictures, and at least one showing me and the other legionares pulling guard duty in the arena.

More photos! - Anonymous - 05-18-2004

I finally got my wife's roll of film developed. I've added the best shots. As I had hoped, she managed to get some of us in the arena. As before, go to:
