4th century spatha scabbard - M. Val. Naso - 04-02-2013 Hi there! In a few weeks, I'll order my new scabbard from a craftsman. Problem is, I'm a bit confused about the scabbard slide. My impression is for a pannonia valerian centurion from roughly 370 AD. All scabbard slides which I've seen in the Miks-book for my period come in pairs. They are quite small, and I would need a pair of them to support the weight. However, I would like only one, a bit more robust scabbard, but I can't find any. Could you point me to some (even numbers from the Miks book). |
