Walking Hadrian\'s Wall - mcbishop - 01-01-2013

For those who are interested, over the next 80 days I shall be guiding a virtual walk along Hadrian's Wall from Wallsend to Bowness-on-Solway. There will be a summary tweet (with map) from @perlineamvalli each day at 1700 hrs GMT/UTC and then an illustrated blog post describing the day's section at 1730 hrs. Day One will be today at the appropriate time. If you intend to (or just wish you could) walk the Wall this year, you may find this of interest and use.

When it comes to ancient past and modern technology, you're my hero. Besides that, which guided walk offers a haiku with every point of interest?
