Beginners pugios - Augustus Janus - 09-08-2012 These are rubbish as pugios (I know it already) and mainly a result of me just playing around in my spare time on night shift and the resulting styles are just whimsical. I just started with the scabbard for the bottom pugio. They are not historically accurate but would be highly effective in a fight if need be. Maybe these are an example of what not to wear at the re-enactment? Or carry these into your mock battles. You can't hurt these things lol! Beginners pugios - M.
