Helmet rosette inlay question - Doc - 10-08-2012
The Gallic F (Besancon).......Aquilea Helmet.......Gallic D......etc. Are the inlays in the rosettes all coral or are they enamel. Is there any evidence of stones like agate or the like used in ANY Roman helmet rosette inlays?
