Survey of Events in 2003 - richsc - 01-03-2003

With the the turn of the new year, most groups must have an idea of the events for the coming year. So, this is a poll of what each group is doing, in addition to the big Xanten event in June. I have a page that I did for last year where I'll post all of this for everyone's edification. A link to each group's events will do! no need to retype it all here.

Many thanks!
Salue Ursinius Sebastianus,

About the events in Italy, I can say just about the event I organize every year (Albano on October 2002
pub45.ezboard.com/fromana...=510.topic ).

The 2003 edition will not be done at Albano, but in Roma territory (Roma, but outside the Pomerium, so, no sacrilege for bringing weapons!) in a great archeological area close to the main airport. I'll tell which and release the official invitation as soon as everything will be official; the dates will be 26-27 April 2003, the roman legionaries re-enactors could be more than 100 at this time. So gentlemen, great fun for everybody and great archeological, experimental archeological and re-enactment session!

To the event attendants will be given:

100 euro for each fully equipped legionary and auxiliary
free bus costs for the numerous groups
free lodging
free meals

Re: Fectio events - Robert Vermaat - 03-30-2003

What's life when you don't live it? It should be interesting.. But, as it is an invite, we'll have that date checked again!
Re: Fectio events - Robert Vermaat - 04-04-2003

Well, we've been asked to move the date to may 10th... Apparently, the street we were supposed to use was also earmarked for the prayers area.. and that would have clashed a bit.

Cheers,
