I've seen somewhere in the Net a schematic image of the different components of a late ridge infantry helmet but I can't find it anymore. Can anyone tell me where to get that image?<br>

I think you are referring to the drawing from Osprey's "Late Roman infantryman", plate E 3 a-b. A word of warning, though; this is not perfectly correct.<br>
