Musée des Antiquites Nationales - Praefectusclassis - 12-07-2004

Anyone ever been to the French Musée des Antiquites Nationales St. Germain-en-Laye (Paris)? There's supposed to be two Roman military tombstones for the imagebase there.
Greets
I am not sure if I photographed them when the Roman Army Tour 2002 went there with Peter Connolly, I'll check through my collection.

Nope, and I can't find them. I guess we need to schedule a new roadtrip, or get someone in Paris area to go for us....
MAybe some of the other folks who went on the tour took pictures, but....

I found out what these tombstones look like. They are both half-portraits of togate, bearded legionaries. Only from the text in the inscription can the fact that they are soldiers be learnt though. Still, they belong in the imagebase!
Greets
