Call to arms - short notice! (Late Roman) - Robert Vermaat - 11-21-2011 CALL TO ARMS Needed, on quite short notice, 3 Late Roman soldiers (1 officer, 1 armed soldier and 1 (young) recruit), preferably with a cheiroballista.. What: A filming project for a scene in a late roman tower (fictive with green screen...). Everyday life in the Late Roman military, displaying of a cheiroballista-team in front of a green-screen for a 3D model of a late roman ballista-tower, eventually a small show-fight for a filming test (for the bigger project) - Gelduba (Krefeld). Filming will take 6-7 hours, there are no provisions to stay the night. Where: Film studios in Emden (North Germany). When: Saturday 26th November, but it is possible to change the date to the first weekend of December.
