Buckle - MDF - 07-27-2011 Hi Guys, some days ago I was asked to show some of my work compared with original (and my reconstruction process) so I will share with you some recent work I'm doing these days: a lost wax bronze roman buckle. The originals buckles ...and my way to made it... Re: Buckle - kazeryu - 07-28-2011 Fantastic work Marcus! I like the "tree" of buckles to let you make so many in one casting! Re: Buckle - Gaius Colletti - 07-28-2011 Very nice, what are you using them for? Or do you sell/supply them? Re: Buckle - PhilusEstilius - 07-28-2011 Those buckles look very good so are you using centrifical or vacum methods in the casting. Re: Buckle - MDF - 07-28-2011 Thanks guys, yes Brian, I use a vacuum machine for these...is indispensable for details. Matt, these are not for me but I made for an historical group and I do not know how they use them...sorry. Re: Buckle - Gaius Julius Caesar - 07-29-2011 Sorry, but thats just amazing! i love seeing castings, wish I could do them! Excellent work! |
