Biography of F.A. Wolf - Jona Lendering - 04-25-2011
I just read F.A. Wolf's Darstellung der Altertumswissenschaft, and even though I am not blind to its flaws, I am very, very enthusiastic about that old text (review). Does anyone know a good biography?

Quote:Does anyone know a good biography?No, not personally. But J.F.J. Arnoldt's Friedrich August Wolf in seinem Verhältnisse zum Schulwesen und zur Pädagogik dargestellt (Braunschweig, 1861-2), seems to have been favourably received by the critics.
