Hello,
they have been offered to you? How comes that?
Are these from Sisak? You anyway should let know the archeologists of your country of that!
Jesu li ti slijemovi is Siska?

Of course, that's assuming they're real. Doesn't it seem like the rust is very much on the surface and not on the edges? Wouldn't one also expect different materials to wear differently (such as brass-alloy appliques on the Imperial Gallic helmet)?

Nisu iz Hrvatske, zato sam i oprezan jer znam da u Srbiji rade dosta replika.

Radoslav, in English please.

Most likely fakes

Is it just me or does anyone else think the eyebrows on the Imperial Gallic helmet look as if they are separate pieces which have been attached to the skull rather than embossed from the inside as we would expect on a genuine one?

Definetely fakes, the rust is more comparable to something which was put in the ground in the 50's or 60's. The helmets are totally wrong. In no way they resemble anything worn by either Romans of the Imperial period or Romans of the late empire. They are bad copies, junk. I am not going to explain what they should look like since that would only serve the fraudster and disgusting criminal trying to pass these off as real.

We see a lot of this kind of fraudulent people coming up on the Japanese sword forum trying to sell junk, this is the same.

I would advise you to immediately call the police in your country and put them on the trail of this seller.
