Help needed with swords and spears from Rumania - vintila - 12-11-2010
Hi there and greetings from Romania!
I wonder if anyone can help me and my friends from the Desa archaeological site with more information about this type of swords and spear we have found in 2005. to be more exactly, we are interested in dating them, who used them (what unit, in what period, etc.)
All that we know for certain is that at about 1 km W of this roman cremation cemetery, are the ruins of a small fort of a unit from Legio XIII Gemina which was stationed in front of Desa, in Ratiaria.
