It is now out of print (has been for years) but has been digitised and is one of those that will be available to members of ARMES once that gets off the ground. I am working hard to make that happen before Christmas.

Re: JRMES Volume 1 - Medusa Gladiatrix - 10-15-2010

I'm looking for the following article:

Volume 11 (2000)
Marcus Junkelmann Gladiatorial and military equipment and fighting technique: a comparison 113-17

Unfortunately our university library has only the volumes up to 1999. Can anyone help me with that?

Re: JRMES Volume 1 - John W Davison - 02-01-2011

For info, I recently gave in to the inevitable and thinned my library down. Amongst the c2,400 volumes to which I tearfully bade a fond farewell Sad in the interests of being able to get back into the living room was a full set of JRMES to date (vols 1 - 12/13, as well as the two monographs on the lorica segmentata, the ARMA newsletters and the original BAR volumes). I sold them to Archaeology Plus in Sussex just before Christmas, so if you want an old-style paper copy, they probably have not sold the copy of volume 1 as yet.

Re: JRMES Volume 1 - K.M.S - 05-08-2011

What about volume 2 (1991)? It seems to be out of print, too. I have desperately tried to find it without success, but I really need to see J.C.N. Coulston´s article The 'draco' standard. I´m from Finland, which makes the task even more difficult because we don´t have JRMES in our university libraries.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me to find it. Even to know in which university libraries it is to be found would help because if I can´t get hold of it otherwise, I could make an interlibrary loan request.
