Bone Apron Terminals - Primvs Pavlvs - 08-24-2010

Hi...long time and no see!

I got the Roman "bug" again and had some time to play around with making a couple of new pieces. I am planning on making terminals for one of my new belts and I was curious if there is any evidence for bone terminals for the apron? I have photos of some pieces that might be terminals, but I am unaware of any pieces found with other belt parts. Any evidence?

Headed to Augusta Raurica this weekend...so I might be outta touch.

Hey, you should get your butt out to Lafe next year.

I've never seen any evidence for bone terminals (mind you, there are plenty of finds catalogues I have yet to see) but there is plenty of evidence for bone buckles, if that was something which interested you. I am considering a bone buckle for my new belt, despite having a bronze buckle (cast from my own master) already.
