Greaves for Triarrii impression - Sextus Septimius - 02-19-2010

HI all,

I have been working for about a year to collect kit for a Triarrii impression. Currently I am looking for greaves (or maybe one greave). I have found a set of greaves at this link:

They seem to be excellent, however currently I am a legion of one here in Northern California, and would like some guidance. Any help would be appreciated. These greaves do not have straps which is consistent for Classical Greek Hoplite greaves, however I had read that the Romans generally had straps on their greaves (or greave, since most men wore one on the left leg)

regards
Sextus Septimius
