Yes these are the old provcator helmets from Ars Dimicand.
These are the helmets in action, that you see on the hephestus website.
For 2009 they started to experiment with 2nd to 3rd century provocators as you can see in this thread here:

Hi Olaf some interesting links there. Thank you.
Now we have this Christmas thing out of the way I look forward to finishing my helmet and getting the rest of my legionarie kit serviced because we have a busy season coming up next year.
Prior to Christmas I spent two days cleaning up my workshop and putting the tools away
I found things I had forgotten about!
My trouble is I never clean up between projects I end up with tools and materials strewn all over the place!
I have yet to make a scale armour for a chest harness so I will be cutting up all those small pieces of scrap metal into scales.

Well there it is. Fooled the system by cropping on Picassa 3. Had no luck with other systems.
