Re: List of Groups - minvid - 02-06-2010

Salve Matt,

name/title:
COHORS IIII VINDELICORUM, 4th cohort of vindelici
Auxilliary cohort of the hadrianic period, 125 AD.

location:
Germany, near the limes

website link:
http://www.vindeliker-kohorte.de

- and anything else you think would be useful in a short list

Our group was founded in the 80s, we try hard to do something different, although it is hard to find enough archeological stuff for this time. Included to our camp is a separeted area for the civilians and handcrafts. We took part at most large roman events in Germany (Xanten, Kalkriese (hard to fit the timeline... ) or Trier, but also at some selected events in France or the Netherlands. We practise the military service and weapon training, it is hard to know when the next barbarians will attack! Roma Aeterna!

Vale,

Markus

website: www.cisalpina.net
relevant contact info: Luca Bonacina (lucioquintus.boncino at cisalpina.net)
